Three Polish Wild Boar Test Positive for African Swine Fever
POLAND - Three wild boar at different locations in Podlaskie province in the east of the country, near to the border with Belarus, have tested positive for the African swine fever (ASF) virus.In Follow-up Report No.39 dated 25 February to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the Polish veterinary authority reports that three wild boar, found dead at different locations in Podlaskie province between 13 and 15 February, have tested positive for the ASF virus.
The area is already know to be infected with this virus.
