A handy, four-page leaflet has been published on the dangers posed by African Swine Fever from the EU-funded ASForce group (Targeted Research Group on African Swine Fever).

It shows the symptoms to be aware of and methods of transmission and describes what to do in case you see the signs in live pigs, at the slaughterhouse or at post-mortem.

African Swine Fever does not affect people but can be devastating to domestic pigs and wild boar.

The English version of the leaflet is available on ThePigSite by clicking here.

The same flyer can be downloaded in other languages - Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, German and Bulgarian - by visiting the ASForce web site, asforce.org/african-swine-fever-and-asforce-project.
