Russia Reports More Classical Swine Fever Cases

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported another outbreak of classical swine fever in Saratov Oblast.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received Follow-up Report No. 16 yesterday, 26 April. This latest outbreak has affected wild pig species.

Out of four susceptible animals, two cases were identified. All four animals were destroyed.

The source of the outbreak has not been confirmed.
