China plans to buy 38,000 tonnes of frozen pork

China will keep stockpiling pork as necessary to bring hog prices back to a reasonable level, the country's state planner said on Tuesday.

China will buy 38,000 tonnes of frozen pork for state reserves this Thursday, the second round of such stockpiling this year, in a move to boost prices, reported Reuters.
