US meat processing continues to lag

Pig, poultry and beef processing continued at a lower level through May, according to recent reports released by the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), but it wasn’t because of COVID-19-related closures, according to the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.
