Like many things in 2020, the ninth annual Iowa Swine Day moves forward but with a different look and feel. A five-part webinar series of select speakers from the planned 2020 conference programme replaces the live conference. What hasn't changed is Iowa Swine Day's focus on important issues facing US pork producers. Conference organisers build upon the success of past programmes by continuing to seek industry input from the planning committee. The success of past conferences has shown that the best approach to developing a program for the pork industry is to seek input from producers representing a cross section of the industry.

During each webinar, offered on Thursdays from 25 June to 23 July, noon to 2:30 PM CDT, participants have the opportunity to interact, ask questions, and learn from the two presenters featured each week. Webinars are offered via Webex and can be accessed via any computer or mobile device with internet connection. Registration is required to receive connection information and participate. There is no cost to attend the webinars. Webinars will be recorded and available on the Iowa Pork Industry Center website following the conclusion of the series.
