ASF confirmed in Bulgaria

Bulgaria has confirmed two cases of African swine fever in the northern part of the country.

According to Reuters, two cases of ASF have been identified in Bulgaria. The disease was identified in backyard pigs from Zhernov, a village in the northern part of the country. In response, the National Food Safety Agency will cull the pigs in Zhernov and establish a 3km quarantine zone around the village.
