UKRAINE - Two further outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported by Ukrainian authorities to the OIE.

One outbreak affected a backyard farm in Chernytsya where four cases were reported.

The other outbreak was discovered in Shpola. Here, two pig carcasses were found in a dumpsite near Shpola city.

Laboratory tests of samples taken from the pigs gave positive results for ASF. The carcasses have since been destroyed and the site has been disinfected.
