Russia Reports More ASF on Swine Farms

RUSSIA - Nine new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported on pig farms in eastern Russia.

A number of village and backyard pig farms in the Saratovskaya, Lipetskaya, Novgorodskaya, Ryazanskaya and Nizhegorodskaya regions have been affected.

In total, of the 234 pigs susceptible, 25 cases were reported.

There has also been one outbreak reported in wild boar.
