ASF Outbreaks in Burundi Farmed Pigs
BURUNDI - Two outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported on pig farms in Ngozi. In total, 140 cases were reported across the two farms.
Animals affected were from both sexes, of all ages and from local breeds and also the large white breed.
ASF occurred last year in the same areas and was reported up to November. It is likely that the virus remained there.
