Brett Haas, co-owner and sales manager for Crop Copter, speaks to 5m at Ag Media Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

"We have gotten a lot of interest, especially as we've moved into bigger livestock areas. General observation - everybody goes out and checks their cows in the morning or when they do chores and having that ability to see the whole herd at once or to see the back corner of the farm," said Haas. "It's just being able to get that bird's eye view and see what's going on, and if something looks out of place, then we can go and pay attention to it."

Headquartered in central Illinois, USA, Crop Copter is dedicated to designing, building and selling small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), specifically for agricultural use.

Crop Copter's best-selling UAV is the only true Ready-to-Fly kit in agriculture. It's lightweight, durable and nimble design is perfect for scouting in any situation. It scouts 80 acres in less than 10 minutes, while offering Real Time video feedback and 15 minutes of flight time per battery charge.

Crop Copter is owned by farmers who are working to be better stewards of their own lands, trying to grow more with less. UAVs help do just that. Within minutes, Crop Copter can help farmers make more informed decisions.
