Russian Pigs Hit by More African Swine Fever

RUSSIA - There have been six more outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Russia.

There were three outbreaks in backyard swine holdings and three in wild boar.

The backyard swine outbreaks affected five pigs in total out of five susceptible animals. There were three deaths and the other two animals were destroyed.

There were 15 cases in wild boar, of which 13 died and two were destroyed.

The outbreaks occurred in the Orlovskaya, Saratovskaya, Bryanskaya and Vladimirskaya regions.
