7 July 2015, at 12:00am

UKRAINE - Another outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) has been found in farmed pigs in Ukraine.

The outbreak effected a backyard swine operation in Gornostaypil village, Ivankivskyi, Kiev.

The farm is thought to hold 67 pigs. Of these, only one pig became ill which died.

It is not yet known if the other pigs on the farm have been slaughtered or not not to prevent the spread of the disease.

There was also a case of ASF reported in wild boar in the forest near the village of Bilka, Zhitomir.
