Conference to Discuss the Latest in Danish Pig Welfare
DENMARK - The Danish Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries will be holding the International conference on pig welfare on the 29-30 April, with the support of the Danish Centre for Animal Welfare (DCAW).Denmark slaughters around 20 million pigs a year and exports more than 70 per cent of the resulting pig meat to other EU countries, especially to Germany, the UK and Poland.

Given the importance of this event, Eurogroup for Animals and several of its members will be represented.
