Asian Demand for Meat Drives Animal Feed Innovation
GLOBAL - The increase in demand for meat and dairy products in the Asia Pacific region has led to a need for using the best possible technology and animal feed methods.The Asia Pacific region remains one of the top global priorities for the animal feed business within the global company Cargill.
With growing consumer demand for meat and dairy products in the region, livestock farmers and dairy producers increasingly seek higher yields, better quality and environmentally sustainable solutions for their operations.
“Asia Pacific is experiencing a surge in consumer demand for meat and dairy products, and this in turn presents an increasing need for quality animal nutrition solutions and applying the best technology,” said Stoney Su, Group Director of Cargill’s Animal Feed business in Asia Pacific.
“We work closely with our customers to better understand their needs and to deliver customised, high-quality animal nutrition solutions to them.
"The goal is to ensure that the meat and dairy products that people put on their table are of the highest quality thanks to proper animal nutrition and welfare, as well as help our customers increase their productivity and efficiency in a competitive market.”
Cargill aims to support feed manufacturers, dealers and livestock producers with their changing needs in the region. The company has over 20 animal feed technology centres around the globe that continually develop new formulations to help livestock farmers be more productive.
Cargill has won a series of awards across the region for innovative feed products grounded in science and research in recognition of its innovative products and services in the animal nutrition business.
