Boehringer Ingelheim Announces Changes to Swine Marketing Team
US - In an ongoing effort to better provide customers with technical swine health information and recognise outstanding performance, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. (BIVI) announces several personnel changes in its Swine Marketing Team."We are excited to promote several longtime employees, bring back a former one and add fresh perspectives to our business," says Lara Sheeley, Director, Swine Marketing.
"This realignment will have a positive impact not only in our headquarters here in St. Joseph, but with the swine producers and veterinarians we serve across the nation and around the world."
The recent promotions and staff additions include:
Brian Payne, DVM, has been promoted to Associate Director, Technical Managers. He will manage the technical management team and remain Technical Manager for Ingelvac CircoFLEX® vaccine. "Brian has broad swine production-oriented veterinary experience and experience both as a Professional Services Veterinarian and Technical Manager,” Ms Sheeley says.
“In addition, his global experience in Japan makes him well prepared for his new role with the Swine Division and we look forward to the expertise he brings to the technical team.”
Eduardo Fano, DVM, has been named Technical Manager for Ingelvac MycoFLEX® vaccine. He will continue to spend half of his time in his previous role of proving technical support to the Americas.
Dr Fano has an extensive academic and research background with the University of Minnesota and the National University of Mexico. "We look forward to more fully further utilizing Dr Fano’s mycoplasma experience and knowledge on the team," Ms Sheeley says.
Jose Angulo, DVM, will rejoin BIVI as Associate Director, Technical Solutions Team, on January 1 and will lead the Solutions Team. Dr Angulo has a diverse swine disease background in the United States and globally. "Jose is well-equipped for this new role and will lead the team as it transitions to the Solutions Team," Ms Sheeley adds.
Hayley Oswald has accepted the position of Technical Communications Manager. She previously worked in clinical research and development at BIVI, monitoring bio-clinical research trials for swine, cattle and companion animals, as well as writing and reviewing research protocols and reports.
"We look forward to having Hayley on the swine team with the insight and knowledge she brings from her previous role and her experience in clinical trials," Ms Sheeley says.
?Ms Sheeley notes the BIVI Swine Division has experienced rapid growth of both its product portfolio and sales in recent years, and these promotions and additions to the organisation has it well-positioned for the future.
"These changes to the Swine Marketing Team will create a more-efficient organisation, giving the team more time to think and act strategically while maintaining our support to the field sales and professional veterinary staff and our customers," Ms Sheeley says.
