Latvia Reports Five More Wild Boar with African Swine Fever
LATVIA - Five wild boar in the north of the country have tested positive for African swine fever.

By: The Latvian veterinary authority sent Follow Up report No.12 dated 29 September to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The report describes how a total of five wild boar tested positive from the ASF virus between 24 and 26 September tested positive for the ASF virus. Four of the animals were found dead; the fifth one was destroyed.
The first two animals were in the same parish in the county of Burtnieki, while the other three were found together in Strenci county.
