More ASF Found in Latvia

LATVIA - Eight new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been discovered in Latvia.

The outbreaks were found in both wild boar and in pig production facilities in the south east of the country.

In total, five wild boar were affected and died in the Dagdas and Kraslavas counties and three cases were found in swine. However, this led to 46 pigs being destroyed for biosecurity reasons.
