More African Swine Fever in Russian Wild Boar

RUSSIA - More wild boars in western Russia have tested positive for African Swine Fever.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 4 dated 3 March to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

Eight wild boar shot by hunters at the Ilovlinskoye game reserve near the village of Viltovin in the Volgograd region of western Russia on 18 February have tested positive for the African Swine Fever virus.
