Pork Consumption Rises in Uruguay
URUGUAY - Pork consumption in the first half of 2013 was five per cent higher than in the same period last year.

By: In sheep and pig meat, there was an increase in the rate of consumption by around 43.2 and 5.4 per cent respectively.
The accumulated total of beef, pork and lamb showed no significant changes (slight variation of -0.1 per cent).
Considering the past 12 months ending in June 2013, the change in consumption of meat showed no substantial changes - just a slight increase of 0.3 per cent.
