New Case of ASF in Volgograd

RUSSIA - The Volgograd veterinary authorities have reported a new case of African Swine Fever following the study of samples taken on a farm in the village of Nekhevskaya.

The samples were taken from pigs that died on a private farm in the Nekhevskaya municipality.

The samples have been sent to the laboratories in the Vladimir region.

The veterinary authorities in the Rostov and Volgograd regions have put control measures in place to contain the disease and prevent its spread.
