There will also be activity on social media sites in association with extending campaign.

Also through premium news sites such as MSN, Yahoo, Sky, CNN, Telegraph, Guardian and Independent traffic drivers will be used at the end of foodie related press articles which will direct users to areas to the Lovepork website.

Within consumer PR activity a search for five Pork Hambassador’s to help Jimmy support the pig industry will be launched in mid-June.

They will be required to provide an outline of how they will be able support Jimmy and worthy volunteers will be rewarded with a supply of pork. Further details will follow on Lovepork.co.uk.

BPEX Interim Head of Marketing Karen Hughes, said: “The original campaign launched in January was a huge success so we decided to build on that success by reworking the films and expanding where they appear.

“We are also talking in depth to all retailers and foodservice companies who supply Red Tractor pork in order to amplify the campaign further.

“The aim of the campaign is to improve consumers’ understanding of what the Red Tractor means and get them to look for the Red Tractor mark whenever they are shopping.
