Government and Producers Discuss Corn Trade

BRAZIL - To monitor and evaluate the dynamics of marketing the current crop of corn and the outlook of 2012/13, the Secretaries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) will meet with representatives of the corn growers, breeders of poultry, eggs, pork industries, feed, human consumption and traders.

The meeting will be held on December 13 in the Federal Agriculture of São Paulo.

The goal is to maintain balance between production and demand in the sector.

Participants include the holder of the Executive Secretary, José Carlos Vaz, deputy secretary and Agricultural Policy, Edilson Guimaraes.
