Training for Livestock Farmers Offers Certification
PARAGUAY - Training sessions were developed in the towns of Puerto Indio, department of Alto Paraná and in the town of Ñeembucú Alberdi and attended by a mix 100 producers and students, reports the National Animal Quality and Health.During the training sessions were techniques in poultry production and nutrition were discussed in depth. Infrastructure and tools used in poultry production were covered in the sessions.
Dr. Correa Katiupcia,technical swine raising specialist, was responsible for training the participants on issues related to the handling, nutrition of piglets and breeding of pigs and the infrastucture of pig farming, among other topics.
Dr. Manuel Barboza, director general of Quality Animal, was responsible for the delivery of certificates and training manuals to producers and students. Dr Barboza was accompanied by the respective heads of each subject area as well as as the presence of local authorities, departmental association of organised producers and special guests.
