Panamanian Authority Visits Slaughter Plants in Chile

CHILE - From 30 September to 8 October, officials of the Panamanian Food Safety (AUPSA) visited farms and meat processing establishments in Chile to verify the safety of products.

Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) laboratories and the port of Valparaiso were also visited with the objective of verifying disease control methods in order to authorise the entry of Chilean pig meat products to Panama.
