GLOBAL - The 2012 corn crop has been under significant stress; as a result the overall quality is a concern to livestock and poultry producers. Biomin is hosting an educational webinar focussed on quality findings, possible effects to livestock and poultry and solution-based strategies to cope with mycotoxins.Biomin and Romer Labs will discuss quality findings and possible effects to livestock and poultry on Tuesday, 23 October from 9–10am CDT.

Speaking is Karin Naehrer, Mycotoxin Risk Manager, Biomin . Karin Nahrer is product manager in the Competence Center Mycotoxins at Biomin Holding GmbH in Herzogenburg, Austria, with a main focus on Mycotoxin Risk Management, including the Biomin mycotoxin survey program. During her studies at the University of Applied Science in Tulln in the master program “Biotechnical Processes“ she worked at the Biomin Research Center as a Master student. After obtaining her degree in biotechnology she joined Biomin in 2007.
Christina Brewe is the Laboratory Manager of Romer Labs, Inc., in Union, MO, USA. Brewe first joined Romer in 2002 after obtaining her degrees in Biology and Chemistry. She is currently pursuing a degree in Food Safety and Defense in order to better serve the expanded needs of customers regarding laboratory analysis of mycotoxins, GMOs and food allergens.
