More ASF Outbreaks in Tver, Kuban

RUSSIA - Two more outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported in the Tver and Kuban regions.

ASF was confirmed in material from a dead wild boar found in the Central area of "Zavidovo", Konakovo district of the Tver region.

Material from pigs that died on the pig farm Agro Ltd, Bruhovetsky district of Krasnodar region, have also been confrimed as ASF.

At the time of the outbreak, 6145 pigs of different age groups were on the farm. The company is located 25 km from the nearest pig farm.

The Bryukhovetskiy district contains around 15,845 pigs.

At the source of the outbreaks measures are been taken to contain and prevent further spread of infection.
