OIE: More Cases of ASF Reported
RUSSIA - The latest report from the OIE states that there have been 13 further outbreaks of African Swine Fever between the 4 July and 8 August 2012.

By: Outbreaks have been reported in Novgorodskaya, Oblast, Tverskaya, Oblast,
Krasnoyarskiy Kray and Volgogradskaya Oblast.
In total, of the 56,903 pigs susceptible, the outbreaks led to 380 cases which resulted in 54,962 pigs being destroyed.
There was also the death of a wild boar in the hunting grounds of Krisma in Novgorodskaya, Oblast.
