Tulip Food Company Appoints New CEO

DENMARK - This autumn Kasper Lenbroch will take up the position as new CEO of Tulip and thus Tulip will have a new CEO who knows the business from the inside.

Kasper Lenbroch

47-year-old Kasper Lenbroch was employed in Tulip from 2003 to 2008, first as Domestic Market Director and later as Nordic Retail Director. Now he returns as CEO.

Since 2008, Mr Lenbroch has been CEO of Rieber & Son Denmark, a company which primarily is known for the brands K-Salat and Bähncke.

In addition Mr Lenbroch has been group responsible for the businesses Frödinge in Sweden, Cronions in Holland and Rieber & Son in Germany so he has a solid understanding of the food industry and Nordic as well as European retail.

"I have no doubt that Kasper Lenbroch is the right choice as CEO of Tulip. He is highly qualified to run Tulip and he has extensive experience from large food companies. From Kasper's previous employment in Tulip we know that we will have a CEO who manages to encourage the employees, and this is obviously a very important quality," says Chairman of Tulip and CEO of Danish Crown, Kjeld Johannesen.

And Mr Lenbroch looks forward to his new job as CEO of Tulip.

"Tulip is one of the largest and most exciting food companies in Denmark, and I was proud to be employed in Tulip. Therefore, it has been a dream for me to get the responsibility for Tulip’s continued development and I am very pleased that I have been chosen for this job," says Mr Lenbroch.

Tulip Food Company is one of three wholly-owned processing companies in the Danish Crown Group.

As CEO, Mr Lenbroch will refer to Head of Danish Crown´s Processing Division and current CEO of Tulip, Flemming N. Enevoldsen who will continue as CEO of Tulip until Kasper Lenbroch takes over the position.

  • Previously, Kasper Lenbroch has been employed at Arla for a number of years - including a four-year stationing in the subsidiary Danya Foods where he ended as CEO.
  • Kasper Lenbroch’s educational background includes a MBA and MSc in Economics & Business Administration, Sales.
  • Kasper Lenbroch is 47 years. He lives in Jutland, is married and has three children.
