Hermitage Genetics at AgroFARM Russia 2012

RUSSIA - Hermitage Genetics consolidated its position as a leading supplier of high health pig breeding stock to Russia at the recent AgroFARM exhibition held in Moscow on 7 – 9 February.

The exhibition, which is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, is considered to be an important platform for showcasing animal production technologies for the Russian market.

278 exhibitors from over 24 Countries participated this year. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Agricultural Minister of the Russian Federation, Schamil Vakhitov and the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Food and Agricultural Policies, Gennady Gorbunov.

Russia is a key market for Hermitage Genetics and Hermitage has recently expanded its technical support team with the appointment of Dzmitry Sadovyi who is responsible for production and closed herd breeding programme support to Hermitage customers in the Russian market.
