Intervet Schering-Plough Activities at International Symposium

BARCELONA, SPAIN - Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health has announced details of its activities in conjunction with the forthcoming International Symposium on Emerging and Re-emerging Pig Diseases.

The 6th International Symposium on Emerging and Re-emerging Pig Diseases will be held on 12 to 15 June in Barcelona, Spain.

The Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health symposium will be an educational conference where posters and oral presentations on swine health through vaccination will be introduced.

The symposium will be held on 14 June from 17:00 to 18:30hrs at Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, Palacio de Congressos Catalunya (PCC) at Avenida Diagonal 661-671 in Barcelona, Spain.

Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health provides a diverse, high-quality swine product portfolio that allows producers to control infections like porcine circovirus 2 and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

At the 6th International Symposium on Emerging and Re-emerging Pig Diseases 2011, scientific data will be presented on several swine vaccines in its portfolio, including PORCILIS PCV, PORCILIS PRRS and PORCILIS M Hyo. Moreover, the BacuCheck™ ELISA kit to provide proof of vaccination with PORCILIS PCV will be presented.
