Formation of the Advisory Board on livestock breeding to work on problems in the sector were discussed at the meeting. Various representatives of the sector, experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and members of trade unions attended the meeting.

Much of the farmers' demands have already been executed or are in progress and the tax policy change is currently being worked on. Meetings on budget and finance with the Ministry of Finance will be held at the National Assembly over the next few weeks.

Deputy Minister Dr Tzvetan Dimitrov and Deputy Executive Director of the State Fund "Agriculture" Dr Dragomir Gospodinov also took part in the meeting.
