Canada Helps Viet Nam Improve Safety in Processing

VIET NAM - The Canada International Development Agency (CIDA) has kicked off a three-year project worth USD 17 million to help six cities and provinces in Viet Nam to produce safe pork.

Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, southern provinces of Dong Nai, Tien Giang and Long An and central highlands Lam Dong province will apply Good Production Practices (GPPs) in producing pork, according to Asian Agribiz.

CIDA will provide technical assistance to pig households and farms and offer training courses to local farmers on how to expand the production.
