The UK veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 11 dated 4 December to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

It describes a suspected case of H1N1 flu, which started on 27 November on a 1,700-head pig unit in County Tyrone. According to the report, a 170-sow birth-to-bacon unit was affected. This was an incidental finding following investigation of another disease in pigs. Investigations are continuing.
