Green Award for UK Pig Industry

UK - The British pig industry has been recognised for the work it has already done to try to cut its carbon footprint.

An award was presented by the Carbon Trust and picked up by BPEX director of pig industry development Mark Wilson.

“The environment and emissions are assuming ever greater importance and it is very gratifying to see the work the industry has already done being recognised,” he said.
