Top AMI official to address Ohio's food technologists
US - AMI’s Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel Mark Dopp will address the Ohio Valley Chapter of the Institute of Food Technologists during an informal session on country-of-origin labelingThe meeting wil be held on 18 October at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. Bill Sessions, Associate Deputy Administrator of the Livestock and Seed Program, Agricultural Marketing Service, USDA, will also address the audience.
The speakers will be discussing company compliance with regard to the country-of-origin regulations that will be promulgated in 2008.
The Ohio Valley IFT is encouraging colleagues in the meat sector and other allied industries to attend the session. It proves to be an informative and useful discussion focussing on the changes taking place within the food sector, it says.
