The plans include two huge barns in Marle with accomodation for 19,000 pigs each. The barns will be 10 metres high and 145 metres long and the animals will be kept on two floors.

Nick-named 'pig appartments', the structures have been described as innovative by pig producers and industry representatives. However, some Brabant residents have raised concerns, mainly regarding the environmental impact of the farm, the potential noise and the unit's appearance.
