EU drops pork subsidies in response to Aust: Truss
AUSTRALIA - The European Union dropped subsidies on pork in response to Australian concerns, Agriculture Minister Warren Truss said today. Mr Truss said following representations to the EU over short-term assistance to European pig producers, the union had now brought forward the end date for the program.
