UK - Do you have an infertility problem - say a reduction of 15 percent or more? If so please contact your vet to see if you fulfill the criteria for talking part in a Defra-funded study on pig infertility to be carried out by the Veterinary Laboratories Agency and the Royal Veterinary College.

Estimated date of first infection: 10 October.

Outbreaks: 2 farms (a breeding farm with one fattening unit on a separate farm).

Total number of animals in the outbreaks: 4,286 pigs. Number of cases: 670. Number of deaths: 30. Number of animals destroyed: 4,256.
