ITALY - An outbreak of Classical Swine Fever (CSF) has been reported (via OIE) in the Ardara district, Sassari province, Sardinia region.

(Date of previous outbreak of classical swine fever in Italy reported to the OIE: September 2001).

Information received on 22 September 2003 from Dr Romano Marabelli, Director General of Veterinary Services, Ministry of Public Health, Rome:
