BELGIUM - There has been a report of CSF in the north-eastern part of Brazil (via OIE).

(Date of previous outbreak of classical swine fever in Brazil reported to the OIE: August 2001).

Extract from the monthly report of Brazil for March 2003, received from Dr João Crisóstomo Mauad Cavalléro, Director, Department of Animal Protection (DDA), Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply, Brasilia:
