INTRAMICINE®
Injectable suspension
Intramicine® (Benzylpenicilline procaIne and Dihydrostreptomycine) is an injectable solution of a synergic association of two antibiotics which, thanks to the complementarity of their spectrum of activity, allows a bactericidal activity on various Gram-positive and Gram negative germs.
COMPOSITION
Benzylpénicilline procaïne 200 mgDihydrostreptomycine (sous forme de sulfate) 200 000 UI
Sodium hydroxy 4 benzoate de méthyle 1,4 g
Hydroxyméthanesulfinate de sodium 4,0 mg
Excipient q.s.p 1,0 ml
INDICATIONS
For Horse, cattle, ovine, caprine, porcine, dog and cat : infections due to germs sensitive to penicillins and dihydrostreptomycin.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use in case of known allergy to penicillins.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Special precautions for use in animalsBe aware to homogenise well the suspension before use.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
People allergic to penicillins should not manipulate the product
POSOLOGY
Subcutaneous or intramuscular route.Cattle, horses: 10 ml per 100 kg bw
Ovine, caprine: 5 to 10 ml per animal
Porcine, dogs and cats : 2 ml per 10 kg bw
Treatment should be followed for 3 to 5 days
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Cattle:
Meat and offal: 8 days.
Milk: zero hours.
Pigs: Meat and offal: 30 days.
Milk: 3 days (6 milkings).
STORAGE
Do not store above 25?C
PACKAGING
Type II glass vials.
Chlorobutyl stoppers.
