Dinoprost - Solution for injection
Controlling the physiological upheavals of peripartum has become a key success factor in swine production. The use of prostaglandins has become the norm before and after farrowing. The remaining issue was to gain total control over key zootechnical success criteria.
Enzaprost® contains Dinoprost, a natural prostaglandin. The uteronic effect of this natural prostaglandin is fully beneficial for the post-partum use. It induces the evacuation of the uterus and accelerates uterus involution, therefore explaining the therapeutical effect of Dinoprost for MMA syndrome.

COMPOSITION
Dinoprost 5 mg, Excipient q. s. 1 ml
INDICATIONS
Post partum use: reduction of the weaning to oestrus interval (WOI) in sows
with puerperal problems such as metritis in herds with reproductive
problems.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not administer to pregnant animals,
unless it is desirable to induce parturition or interruption of pregnancy.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Pregnant women, asthmatics and persons with bronchial and other
respiratory problems should not use the product or wear disposable
plastic gloves.
POSOLOGY
Post-partum use : One administration of 2 ml of Enzaprost®T
per animal 24 to 36 hours after parturition.
STORAGE
No special precautions for storage. After first opening: do not store above 25 °C.
PACKAGING
Vials of 5 ml, 10 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml.
