Amlan International, in business since 2009 is a part of Oil-Dri Corporation of America, which was founded in 1941. Amlan introduced a new portfolio of products for the United States market and two products for the international markets during IPPE 2022, all backed by 80-plus years of research into clay-based applications.
Reagan Culbertson, director at Amlan, shared an overview with The Poultry Site’s Sarah Mikesell.
“Today here at IPPE, we’re talking about using our mineral technology to adsorb toxins and other pathogens from the guts of animals and helping to make them more efficient and healthier,” said Culbertson. “We have an international portfolio of products, which you can see behind me, and we’ve been in business since 2009. Here at IPPE, we’re actually launching a new portfolio of products in the US market and two new products for the international market.”
Amlan minerals can be used in poultry, swine, dairy and aquaculture diets.
“We’re focused on gut health and improving efficiency in any species,” she said. “All of our products are based on our mineral technology, which is our unique, singly sourced, calcium montmorillonite, which is mined in the US and shipped globally. That is a differentiator for us in the market. We’re very proud of our consistent quality and traceability of this mineral.”
In addition, Culbertson noted the company is vertically integrated giving its personnel the ability to control the quality and consistency of the product from the source all the way to feeding in the US or internationally.
